Adopt a Domestic Long Hair (long coat)
Toby* the Cat needs a home
This is a courtesy post! This cat is not currently under the care of The Cat Shack but can be adopted directly from her caretaker in the meantime. His owner is moving and can't take him along, unfortunately.
His owner reports that he is very loving and is vocal when he can't find you. He's declawed and neutered. He is a sweetie... he likes to be pushed over on the bed and a good tummy rub is always warranted once you do that. He is great with dogs. He is somewhat energetic...that is if you have a feather toy or tiny tennis ball rolling around the house. I have not got him to jump with the laser pointer, but he will run around for a few minutes with the laser. If people come into the house, he will hide at first but once he gets used to the new people he is out most of the time. He is 14.4 lbs ( a large cat but not fat at all). He actually sits on the scale when I get off of it... like imitating me. He loves water... if there is a dripping faucet or a wet tub.... he is there! He will follow me around from room to room and when he can’t find me... he meows a lot until he finds me. Because he is not around other cats he has only had the Feline leukemia shot and the ones you get when you take them to the vet for check up.
